In 2019 and early 2020, the stock market appeared to be a smart place to invest personal injury settlement funds. Unfortunately the “coronavirus” is causing havoc with world financial markets. Just this morning the futures market triggered a fail-safe, and halted the fall of stock values. I have said for 30 years any investment strategy on behalf of our disabled clients must be simple -a structured settlement. To do anymore or any less on behalf of someone with a disability, is simply too dangerous.
