The Toronto personal injury lawyers at JEWELL RADIMISIS JORGE LL.P., on behalf of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association (OTLA), is hosting the Bike Helmets on Kids Event on June 10, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Jane and Finch Community Centre.
Aside from traumatic brain injury (TBI) victims and their families, perhaps no one else is as keenly aware of the devastating, lasting, impact of TBI as the personal injury lawyers that represent them.
Admirably, perhaps no other group is as dedicated and committed to brain injury prevention initiatives as members of the Personal Injury Bar in Ontario and across Canada.
Background:
The Bike Helmets on Kids Community Partnership was started by the OTLA in 2002. Since its first event, held in London, Ontario, this initiative has distributed more than 10,000 helmets to students.
Over the years OTLA members have expanded the Bike Helmets on Kids campaign to other cities and regions across the province including Aurora, Burlington, Chatham, London, Mississauga, Ottawa, Toronto and Trenton. The program continues to expand each year.
This program is intended to put a helmet on the head of every child who needs one, and provides education and awareness about bicycle helmet use. In addition, the program also includes a videotape presentation and educational material for distribution at local schools.
Local members of OTLA generously give their time and money to both organize these community partnerships and fund the cost of the bike helmets.
Please join in and support this important brain injury prevention initiative by local members of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association.
Save the Date: June 10, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Jane and Finch Community Centre.
