Mr. Bergel is a partner at Bergel Magence LLP, a Toronto personal law injury firm. He acts for people seriously hurt in motor vehicle collisions, falls on unsafe property, and dog attacks, and for clients whose disability benefits have been delayed or cut off.
Andrew joined the firm in 2001 and became a partner in 2007, building a practice around the injuries that change a person’s life permanently, including traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord damage, chronic pain, and catastrophic impairment designations. He was seriously injured in a car accident himself, an experience that shapes how closely he pushes a claim rather than letting it drift, and he has argued successfully before the Superior Court of Justice and the Financial Services Commission of Ontario.
