Ilan did not arrive at personal injury law by accident. He grew up inside it. Before he was called to the bar he worked at Bergel Magence LLP as an interpreter, a law student and an intake coordinator, which means he sat with injured clients at the very first phone call, years before he ever argued their case. He has now practiced as a lawyer with the firm for almost two decades.

That long apprenticeship shows in how Ilan runs a file. He is exhaustively detail-oriented, on the view that the fact nobody bothered to chase down is usually the fact that decides the claim.
